“ALL YOUR IDEAS MAY BE SOLID OR EVEN GOOD .. BUT YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY EXECUTE ON THEM FOR THEM TO MATTER.” – GARY VEE
I love quotes like this one. They inspire, hold you accountable, and motive you all at once.
But it’s also important to remember we view other people’s lives and careers in snapshots, including those who inspire us.
Real life is not a mantra, it’s imperfect and messy. Things go haywire, plans gets derailed, life happens.
And that’s ok.
Today was one of those days for me. Though I had good intentions, other people’s reactions can be somewhat unpredictable, especially when they are 6 years old. Parenting. Is. Hard.
But it’s not just parenting. Life is hard. And it is good to understand that you WILL have bad days. There is no escaping this fact.
Plans will change, people will fail you, you will fail others, unpredictable variables will raise their ugly head. So, expect it. Build in those days in your mind. Mentally allow for the unexpected, allow for the derailment, allow for delays. That way, when problems and bad days do happen, you can process and recover faster.
