On those days, we can choose to turn on our wipers and keep going, or we can stay home.

There are things we can purchase, such as an umbrella or a raincoat to help us deal with the rain a little better. But it is out of our control, the ability to stop the rain.

Sometimes it rains harder and or longer than other times.

In many cases, we can predict rain, but occasionally there’s an unexpected storm.

It has been raining a lot lately.

A few days ago, there was an unexpected storm. I stayed home. The truth is, I haven’t seen the Sun since that day. It just seems to keep raining.

But I know the rain won’t last forever.

Eventually, it will stop raining, and the warm Sun will shine again. And knowing that fact helps get me through these long, gray, rainy days.

Everyone has to deal with rain. Nobody is exempt. So my wipers are on, and I’m moving forward, but I’ll definitely be glad to see the sunshine again.
